Another eventful week at Teresina Soapstone. One of our recent installations included a Kitchen, Bathroom and lots of backsplash in a beautiful family getaway home in Tahoe Donner. Next week we will add the finishing touches, and look forward to seeing the project complete. Occasionally we have the pleasure of revisiting homes long after the soapstone has been installed for a visit or add-on. This particular home is definitely on that list. Look for photos of this project on our facebook page.
If you have been reading our Soapstone Blog, you may remember our post about taking templates in Fort Bragg. Well, our soapstone was finally installed this week in Fort Bragg, and we are anxiously awaiting pictures of the project completion. We fabricated Julia Soapstone into Counter tops and sinks throughout the home, including the kitchen and more than one bathroom. We haven’t had Julia Soapstone in stock lately, so it was nice to be able to work with this stone again. This particular project has been in the works for quite a while. Check back for pictures of these Soapstone Countertops.
After about a year, here are some Indigo Soapstone Countertops that we installed in a lake front house in Tahoe. In this picture, you can also see the soapstone windowsill. The Indigo variety of Soapstone does not need to be oiled, and we think it is wearing well! One of the most rewarding things we get to experience is witnessesing our customers enjoying the finished product.
This week we are fabricating six Julia Soapstone slabs for a project in Fort Bragg. We are really looking forward to the completion of this project. This installation will include kitchen countertops, three soapstone sinks, a bathroom vanity and fireplace surround. Hopefully we can share some pictures with you in a few weeks. We are also looking forward to another trip to Fort Bragg. Our visit this past weekend was a nice break from the heat in Sacramento!
