We are excited to launch our first ever print advertising campaign. Because we have had so many clients in Arden Park, Arden Hills and Arden Arcade, we decided to start by advertising directly to that part of Sacramento. Look for our new ad in the August 2011 edition of “Inside Arden”.

Although we no longer carry Brazilian Eyes Soapstone in full slabs, we wanted to share with you this picture of an installation of Soapstone we did in San Andreas, CA. We appreciate you taking the time to send us photos of your completed projects. We like to see how your kitchen and bath remodels look when they are complete.
Money Magazine declares Soapstone #1 in value when compared to Granite, Solid Surface, Concrete, Butcher Block and Ceramic Tile. Read the article on the Money CNN website. Although the article is mostly accurate, it has a mistake about which surface is porous. Soapstone is completely non-porous. Don’t take our word for it, see what USGS says about Soapstone and it’s talc properties.
Teresina Soapstone will be at the NKBA Industry Showcase in Oakland, CA on May 17, 2011. Please visit our booth to see samples of our Soapstone and to get more information about the benefits of Soapstone for countertops, flooring, sinks and other uses. If you haven’t had the opportunity to see soapstone for yourself, feel it to believe it!
Teresina Soapstone is proud to have the opportunity to be a donor for the 2011 RugbyFest in Loomis, CA. All proceeds go to the Sierra Foothills Rugby club. We have a special affinity for rugby here at Teresina Soapstone. We wish the club success throughout their season.
Keep the annual “Ruckin ‘n’ Shuckin” Rugbyfest on your list for next year. Its quite an event!
We just got these pictures from one of our Installations of Soapstone Countertops. We hope you like them!
Thank you Stan and Estella for allowing us to Photograph your beautiful kitchen during our most recent follow-up visit! This past weekend, we went to Coloma to add Soapstone to a windowsill in the kitchen. With the whole family in attendance, we were able to get before and after pictures. The kids loved feeding the goats and Llama, traipsing around the property, seeing Dad in action, and “helping” install Soapstone. There are a few photos on this blog post, but for all the pictures of Soapstone, click here.
Porto Alegre Soapstone is in many ways similar to the other varieties of Soapstone we offer. Porto Alegre sometimes shows large dramatic white veins and sometimes more subtle white veins. Its distinguishing characteristic is the rust veining. Most of the slabs just have one or two areas with rust veins, so it isn’t overpowering. There are also hints of green in some of the Porto Alegre. To give you an idea how much rust you will see, this larger than average kitchen only has 2 areas where the rust veining is prominent. Close-ups of those areas are shown below.
The island in this kitchen has a laminated chiseled edge. Twice as thick as the standard 3cm Soapstone edge, the laminated edge gives this island a beefy look. The chiseled edge lends a rugged, home on the range feel to this antique-ey old west style home. The Soapstone chiseled edge removes any doubt as to whether or not the stone is “real”.
Thanks for sharing the Soapstone pictures on your site with us Kristi! Its nice to get some photos of the unoiled Soapstone after its been installed. The character and veining of the Soapstone really shows through and nicely compliments the white cabinets.
This website shows a whole bunch of pictures before, during and after the kitchen remodel. Its still a work in progress, but about 90% finished! Congratulations of almost finishing. We can’t wait to see the final Soapstone photos with lighting and the last details. It already looks great.
